Kiersten Sundberg is a 24-year-old fine artist who works in all media for painting and drawing.  She loves Jesus and has a passion for classical, representational art. The second eldest of ten children, Kiersten is also a homeschool alumnus.

Kiersten has taught art lessons for over four years.  She instructs in the style of the Atelier, a rigorous, centuries-old French program designed to teach students to render any subject from any reference (including the most challenging and inspirational reference-life observation) with great skill, accuracy, and speed.  She also always encourages students to spend part of class time working on personally chosen projects, in order to develop their creativity and individual style.

Growing up, Kiersten would sleep on the floor in the family room or basement every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night-along with her other nine siblings.  Boys slept on one side of the room and girls on the other, with the couch in between.  Occasionally, Kiersten still "camps out" on the floor with her family after a weekend movie night.  All ten Sundberg children slept on the basement floor this past Christmas Eve.  Kiersten also loves to read Christian mystery/action novels written for teenage boys. She likes to sing opera and Disney princess songs, play volleyball, dance around the room to upbeat music, write comedy sketches with her siblings, design animated characters, and learn vocabulary words.
