The NWA Beautiful Girls World Changer Award

We presented the “NWA Beautiful Girls World Changer Award” for the fifth year at the 2019 retreat! Each year we will present this award to a student who has shown exemplary and creative service for God’s Kingdom, and it can be used to fund her mission. If you would like to contribute to this award, please contact us and fill out an application, which is linked below. Also, feel free to nominate a student and then submit an application to us.

In 2015 a $1,000 award was given to Jennifer Holmes-Smith, a University of Arkansas graduate with a double major in Civil Engineering and French, who then lived abroad and helped support a missionary family. She trained in discipling in Rwanda and Kenya, Africa. The award went to install a well in Tanzania, Africa to a village that had no access to water. Jennifer is currently serving in Europe working with immigrants.

In 2016 the award went to sisters Marjorie and Genevieve Jackson--two girls who invest in others through visual arts, worship, and missions. Marjorie has written a book, "The Greatest Book You've Never Read" and "Devoted", both teaching on the importance of God's Word and how amazing it is! Both girls are also recording their very own covers and music to glorify God. The two recently traveled on a mission trip to bring people the Word of God. The girls will continue to use their gifts and talents to speak about God's goodness! Marjorie this summer was a graphic design intern with Compassion International and is a student at JBU. Genevieve studied Baking and Pastry Art at Brightwater Culinary Institute and is currently studying at Oral Roberts University.

In 2017 Emma Mae Jenkins received our Award--at the time, Emma was a junior at Bentonville High School, sang in the A Capella choir, and was the Junior Class President (in her senior year, the Student Body President!). Miss Emma is the manager of the BHS girls soccer team, and she is the Co-Leader of the OutReach for Christ Club. Her vision is to lead her generation into having a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. She makes the most of every opportunity not only in her everyday encounters, but also through social media, YouTube, and her blog as she speaks and shares the light of her Redeemer to those all over the world. Emma is traveling with the Word of God and is planning to do big things in Jesus' Name so that others can hear the Good News!

The 2018 award went to Esther Seim. Esther is a homeschool graduate, ballet dancer, award-winning fiction writer/author, YouTuber, FCA leader, aspiring filmmaker, actress, and photographer. She is passionate about mentoring young people and encouraging them to be world changers! God has blessed her with the opportunity to do just that as the assistant artistic director for Rejoice! Children’s Ballet Theater, a Bentonville-based ballet school that focuses on excellence in dance and Christian discipleship. She is also a FCA community sponsor/leader for Creekside Middle School and Osage Creek Elementary School in Bentonville, giving her direct access to sharing the gospel in what she believes to be America’s greatest mission field!
